Pietro Ramella

I am a PhD candidate in Accounting at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and I will be on the 2025-2026 academic job market. My research focuses on financial disclosures and strategic communication.

My research builds on insights from information economics, and combines theoretical and empirical methods. My job market paper shows that when algorithms are employed by both investors and managers, "better" technology can ultimately impair disclosure quality.
